Features

The drying out of bread is greatly delayed. Sliced bread stays fresh longer and still tastes good after several days.

Excess moisture is released and mould is largely prevented. We have had the best experience with untreated wooden lids for both purposes. They are breathable and do not require ventilation holes.

The ceramic is easy to clean and the wood is impact-resistant. This combination of materials has proven itself and saves you from having to reorder broken ceramic lids.

Care

Normally, it is sufficient to wipe out the older crumbs.

Our pots provide the ideal climate, but even so, bread does not keep indefinitely.

If bread does go mouldy, wash the pot with vinegar essence (undiluted) and spread it generously over the entire underside of the lid. Allow it to soak in and dry in the sun, and the smell will quickly dissipate. This will reliably remove any mould.

Like all our ceramics, the bread pot is completely dishwasher safe, but the wooden lid is not.
