We refer to cups as the shape with a handle. Everything we say about the Name mugs, with the difference that the handle is located where one line would be. The names therefore form seven lines, but for long two-line names, we also label the cup with eight lines.

The handle is advantageous for very hot drinks such as coffee. For children, who do not normally drink very hot drinks, we recommend the Name mug without a handle.

We currently require one to two weeks for labelling and firing. If (more common) names are already in stock, we can deliver immediately.

Glaze colour

The glaze colour is shaded blue on the surfaces, handle and lettering. The colour tone, colour structure and hand-written lettering are slightly different on each cup. This also applies to the size and shape.

The inner glazes not only meet the (by our standards) low standard of ‘food safety’, but are also completely non-toxic.
The colour structure is unique to each vessel; no two are exactly alike. To get an overview, you can also look at the same glaze on the other shapes.
